Que fizemos durante esses trezentos e sessenta e cinco dias que se esgotaram no calendário terrestre?
Trabalhamos muito? Mas nosso trabalho teve como objetivo somente ganhar dinheiro ou promovemos algo de verdadeiramente bom para alguém, para a comunidade?
Trabalhamos até à exaustão, sem tempo para a família, os amigos, o lazer refazente?
Contribuímos para alfabetizar uma criança, um jovem, um adulto?
Associamo-nos a campanhas de promoção da vida e da dignidade humana? Fizemos a diferença no mundo?
O que foi diferente para nós, no ano que está acabando?
Simplesmente reprisamos os feitos dos anos anteriores ou as promessas escritas na mente e no coração foram colocadas em prática?
Será que a esperança com que aguardamos o Novo Ano será de tão pouca duração quanto foi a do ano que morre?
