Esforçar-se retamente
Não posso! Não consigo! Não estou preparado! Não me sinto seguro!… Quantas destas afirmações estamos acostumados a ouvir no trabalho,nos estudos, ou na casa espírita? O chamamento para o compromisso dentro da seara espírita apavora muita gente, muito mais do que se imagina, sendo estas afirmativas emitidas de forma constante. Alguns,não se acham merecedores ou preparados para assumir uma tarefa edificante a serviço de Jesus, por fatores variados. Compreender a doutrina nos leva a colocar em prática o lema vivido por Kardec: Trabalho, solidariedade,tolerância- designação que não se concretiza e nem se fortalece sem o necessário burilamento dos sentimentos e o uso,bem direcionado, da razão e do amor. Na obra Plenitude, Joanna de Ângelis traz, no capítulo 8,destaca alguns ensinamentos antigos de Buda,são oito passos que conduzem à iluminação pelo amor e à plenitude pela felicidade. A pretexto de construir um pensamento proativo quanto a ideia do trabalho na casa espírita, detenho-me, mais especificamente ao sexto passo – o Esforçar-se retamente- transcrevendo a seguinte passagem: sem esforço, nenhum empreendimento se torna possível,muito menos se faz vitorioso. A intensidade do esforço desvela a qualidade do caráter. Sem uma disciplina que o exercício prodigaliza, o esforço deperece e as aspirações morrem. Essa força que decorre do querer, é responsável pelos resultados das aspirações colocadas em prática. As pessoas que não se esforçam por preservar os ideais de enobrecimento perdem as batalhas da evolução antes mesmo de iniciá-la,perturbando a marcha do progresso geral. Fiz questão de grifar o verbo querer porque o passo do esforçar-se procede do querer e de outros tão importantes. O desenvolvimento moral do ser humano é substancial, tanto quanto o é o desenvolvimento cognitivo, se dermos tanto ênfase ao aspecto intelectual da educação não quer dizer que menosprezemos e releguemos a segundo plano o aspecto moral, aliás, é ju stamente nas demonstrações que a oportunidade alia-se a nossa boa vontade tornando-se mais ativa e mais eficaz.Faz parte da natureza humana o medo de assumir compromissos,ainda mais quando estes exigem mudança de hábitos e condutas em que vigem a disciplina, a renúncia,esforço,renovação íntima que cogita que venhamos contrariar imperfeições nocivas de ordem moral e espiritual. Entretanto, as energias canalizadas na aquisição de tais hábitos destrutivos podem ser dispensadas para a obtenção de novas atitudes. Todo hábito é adquirido e, portanto, seja ele positivo ou negativo, foi exercitado, ou seja, necessitou do querer e do esforçar-se, mesmo de que de forma inconsciente. Todos aqueles que limitam sua tarefa como trabalhador espírita por se sentirem despreparados, deixamos uma reflexão do benfeitor Emmanuel que diz: nódulos na madeira não impedem a obra do artífice e certos trechos empedrados do campo não conseguem frustrar o esforço do lavrador na produção da sement e nobre. O mestre Jesus aceita trabalhadores com dificuldades, isentos de uma suposta perfeição, pois Ele não escolheu santos e tanto quanto ontem escolhe hoje discípulos que abracem a sua causa com fidelidade. Não adiemos a obra, tão carente de trabalhadores,por justificativas que não fazem sentido nem para o nosso próprio íntimo consciente. Vamos à luta!
