O livro, a rigor, não necessita de explicações ou apresentações, nem de Interpretações; tudo nele é de meridiana clareza, O próprio autor justifica cada detalhe, cada ensino ou experiência e suas implicações, à medida que adentra na exposição simples de coisas difíceis.
Ele não faz revelações especiais nem ensina princípios não sabidos, em Espiritismo.
No entanto, consegue aglutinar, à segura argumentação que faz, as pequeninas verdades que as desatenções dos estudiosos nem sempre permitem captar e estereotipar nas mentes e corações, numa leitura ou estudo ligeiro da vasta literatura espírita, mediúnica ou não.
É claro que, na tessitura de um livro desta natureza, o autor nele coloca as próprias idéias, nem sempre concordantes com as de outros autores igualmente editorados pela Federação Espírita Brasileira.
Trata-se do exercício natural do sagrado direito que cada qual tem de pensar por si mesmo e de abraçar os pontos de vista que lhe parecem os melhores.
Não compete à Federação censurar opiniões, ainda quando não as encampe ou oficialize, exceto quando entrem em choque com os princípios fundamentais da Doutrina Espírita.
Ora, Hermínio C.
Miranda é dos mais seguros estudiosos, defensores e propagandistas daqueles princípios, com os quais todos os seus pensamentos se afinam.
Assim, deixamos aos nossos leitores o encargo de analisar tudo quanto o autor expõe ou sugere, especialmente no que tanga a locais para sessões práticas de desobsessão e a métodos de trabalho, pois o mesmo direito que tem o expositor de argumentar e aconselhar, têm os demais, de aceitar, ou não, os seus argumentos e conselhos.

A propósito, recordamos o livro “Libertação”, de André Luiz: quando os originais foram-nos enviados, o Diretor incumbido da análise Inicial dessas páginas mediúnicas considerou um tanto “exageradas” umas afirmativas e detalhes pertinentes a um caso de licantropia.
Pediu confirmação ao Espírito e recebeu, como resposta, uma carta do médium F.

Xavier, em que transmitia a solicitação do autor espiritual, no sentido de retirar dos originais aquelas palavras que lhe haviam suscitado dúvidas, com a explicação seguinte: “Se o nosso amigo
não pôde admitir isso, é sinal que precisamos aguardar outra oportunidade, pois os leitores, com maior razão, também não admitirão.
” As palavras da carta do médium eram aproximadamente essas, mas o sentido exatamente esse.
Mas o comentário particular de Chico Xavier, a pessoa que nos merece a maior credibilidade, foi este: “E na verdade, mesmo com a parte que André Luiz sugeriu fosse eliminada do texto, as coisas ainda ficavam bem longe da realidade, que é bem pior do que pensamos.
