Realmente, Jesus é o Salvador do Mundo, mas não libertará a Terra do império do mal, sem a contribuição daqueles que lhe procuram os recursos salvadores.

O Divino Mestre, portanto, precisa de auxiliares com atribuições de prepostos e testemunhas, em toda parte.

É impraticável o aprimoramento das almas, sem educação, e a educação exige legiões de cooperadores.

Contudo, para desempenharmos a tarefa de representantes do Senhor, na obra sublime de elevação, não basta o título externo, com vistas à escola religiosa.

Indispensável é a obtenção de bênçãos do Alto, por intermédio da execução de nossos deveres, por mais difíceis e dolorosos.

Até agora, conhecemos à saciedade, na Terra, o poder de dominar, governar, recusar e ferir, de fácil acesso no campo da vida.

Raras criaturas, porém, fazem por merecer de Jesus o poder celeste de obedecer, ensinando, de amar, construindo para o bem, de esperar, trabalhando, de ajudar desinteressadamente. Sem a recepção de semelhantes recursos, que nos identificam com o Trabalhador Divino, e sem as possibilidades de refleti-Lo para o próximo, em espírito e verdade, através do nosso esforço constante de aplicação pessoal do Evangelho, podemos personificar excelentes pregadores, brilhantes literatos ou notáveis simpatizantes da doutrina cristã, mas não testemunhas dEle.
